The Thunderhawks is a non-proffit organization that promotes the hobby of R/C aircraft. We are an AMA sactioned club and follow all rules of the AMA.
The clubs activitys are; fun flys, combat, pylon racing,
All guests are welcome!. if the gate is unlocked come on in and introduce yourself. Any guest can fly as long as they are AMA insured.
After the third visit, you will be asked to join. A guest thats a new pilot might be asked to demonstrate there flying abilities with a buddy box system, Its a safety thing.
To all of you budding authors, We need your expert advice on various aspects of R/C planes. As you can see, we have quite a few pages that need to be filled up. If you are a expert in one of the fields we have listed or would like to add an additional page to the site. The Duel Over Malta combat event is in the books! The event was awesome and everybody had a great time. Thank you to everybody that helped out, you guys made the event.
we had 16 pilots, thats a club record! We had pilots from Livermore Palomar and Temecula. We have also inspired others to try combat. We also had a visitor from Fresno that wants to get it going there.
The scores were surprising and upset the normal. Our own Jason took the event, way to go Jason!!
Club Dues and AMA dues are coming up and can be paid at anytime.
Remember, you have to be AMA to fly at the field
Dont forget to vote in the AMA elections. there is a new candidate. He has alot of good ideas and goals, check out his blog on the AMA site
